Markus holds a degree in Economics and is an Alumni Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has been working in emerging industries such as information technology in the United States and Switzerland and in emerging markets such as Singapore, Poland and CIS countries. Since the mid-nineties he has successfully managed complex and strategic transactions in the pharmaceutical, FMCG and media industry and has been a member of public and private supervisory boards. He is involved in Polpharma Group since 2000 and has been been the CEO of Polpharma Group since 2016.
