Dr. Deven Parmar has been serving as the Chief Medical Officer and Head of Clinical Research and Development at Zydus Therapeutics Inc., New Jersey, for over a decade. He leads a dynamic team of more than 120 professionals across India and the USA, specializing in early and late-phase translational clinical pharmacology and research. His team manages diverse projects, including New Chemical Entities (NCEs), New Biological Entities (NBEs), vaccines, new product development (NPD), and medical devices.
In addition to his professional role, Dr. Deven represents the International Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association (IGBA) as a working group member for the M11 Clinical Electronic Structured Harmonized Protocol (CeHarP) and the Regulatory Harmonization Steering Committee (RHSC) for the Asia-Pacific region.
Dr. Deven also holds esteemed leadership positions:
- President, South Asian Chapter of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology (SAC-ACCP)
- Chairman, Medical Committee, Indian Drug Manufacturers' Association (IDMA)
Dr. Deven earned his MD in Clinical Pharmacology from Grant Medical College, Mumbai University, India, and is a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology. His work is well-published in peer-reviewed journals and authoritative medical textbooks.
