Ms. Sboul has Joined the Jordanian Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers JAPM in 2003 as a Secretary General. She is actively engaged in enhancing the regulatory landscape for generics and biosimilars to improve access to quality, safe & effective medicines. She represents the Pharmaceutical Industry sector in Jordan & was the Team Lead of the sector, contributed to developing Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision 2023-2033. She is also the Vice Chair of Steering Committee of Jordan Pharmaceutical Center and a Member of Hashemite University Board of Trustees.
Ms. Sboul represents the Jordanian pharmaceutical industry at international level. Beside her role as a member of the IGBA Management Committee, she was the Chair of IGBA in 2020. She is currently a member of the USP Council of Convention 2020 – 2025 Cycle, the Chair of the USP Convention Membership Committee & the Chair of USP MENA Regional Chapter.
Dr. Sboul has also served in several boards & councils, including Jordan Food and Drug Administration JFDA Board of Directors, the Higher Committee for Drugs & Pharmacy, the Higher Education Council, the Fund for Employment, Technical, Vocational Education & Training (E-TVET Fund), the Scientific Research Support Fund, Jordan University of Science & Technology Council, Council of Pharmacy School at Jordan University and Council of Pharmacy School at Jordan University of Science & Technology.
Before joining JAPM, Ms. Sboul worked at JFDA as a Registration & Pricing Officer for more than ten years. She has also worked as Teaching Assistant at Jordan University of Science & Technology, and worked for Abt. Associates as a Deputy Chief of Party, Senior Pharmacist at Commercial Market Strategies, a USAID funded project for family planning and reproductive health in Jordan.
Dr. Sboul received her MBA from Jordan University in 2000 and received her B.A in Pharmacy from Yarmouk University in 1986. She was the first Association Executive from Jordan to receive the Certified Association Executive Certificate from the American Society for Association Executives in 2005.
