Steffen Kurzawa is the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Sandoz, a global leader in generic and biosimilar medicines. He is responsible for the company’s world-wide communications and public affairs activities. Steffen has joined Sandoz in 2015. In his role he also is a member of the Sandoz Global Leadership Team.

Prior to joining Sandoz, Steffen worked for pharmaceuticals and agricultural group Bayer, where he most recently served as an Executive Committee member for Bayer CropScience, leading the communications and public affairs function of this global market leader in crop protection, seeds and agricultural biotechnology.

Steffen studied economics and graduated from the University of Cologne, Germany while working as a journalist for various print and audiovisual media. He has worked in Germany, Japan, Singapore and Switzerland. Steffen is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Public Relations and a member of the Arthur W. Page society. He is based in Basel, Switzerland.
